"January 1925 I had a deer hit my car.
They took care of the issues, but I had to go and talk to him about it because there’s some stuff that they really didn’t want to put in there and I’m not getting anything from junkyards to put on my car. Of course that’s the way they wanna do it you know it’s their prerogative, but they did take care of my car And I appreciate that…..
I travel average of 11 1/2 months of the year last year. I got a company truck so I parked in my personal truck at the house. ..
During the winter or fall sometime around there, we had a hail storm or whatever it was, but all I know is the windshield cracked all the way across top and bottom and unfortunately, I was not home when it happened ..
Even though my wife was home and she told me about it I told her I’d take care of it when I got home ..
I started to make a claim they gave me the claim number I went to the claims office started answering the questions and I actually have the balls to tell me that they’re not gonna put ““ not going to put the original type of window back in my truck …
They’re just gonna put plain Jane glass all the way across with no tinted at the top and no super duty logo at the top …
They told me if I wanted that on the window did not only I had to pay my hundred dollar deductible but I had to pay an average of $400 more to have that particular window put back into my truck the exact same thing that’s in it right now ….
That doesn’t work …
So I called the office back ..
Ask Helen if Elizabeth was in Elizabeth is not in..
And she’ll be in tomorrow, which would be Thursday …
Time now is 1201 and I’m still waiting for a phone call back ….
In the meantime, if I don’t get that phone call back and I don’t get this issue taken care of like I told Helen on the phone ….
I’m taking my insurance elsewhere….
I have been with State Farm for years and I mean years way back in Missouri way back in Southern California downstate Michigan with a different person but if I have to deal with this kind of customer service that I’ll go try and deal with somebody else cause I shouldn’t have to deal with this, especially when I’m paying up my rear end for my insurance And believe me it is expensive more expensive than the other people…
That much I can honestly tell you
Here’s an update for you. I never got a call back on Friday. Never got a voicemail. Never got a text. Never got a email.
So I called this morning the office talk to Helen asked to have Elizabeth call me back and that was the minute. They opened up straight up the time now is 1 PM in the afternoon on Monday and I still have not got a call or text or an email of what they’re doing with this.
So apparently, the lack of communication on their side is not a good thing
And I should not have to pay $450 extra out of my pocket for something that should be replaced. That’s exactly like the one that’s coming out."

"I've had insurance through this office for about 6 years. I moved away and even kept this office as my rep. However, recently I was struck by a deer and filed a claim. The app did more for me then this office. I called several times and was told I'd get called back each time, this did not happen. When I did get ahold of them I told them I didn't want to cancel my coverage so there wasn't a lapse in coverage. I was told that my rate would go down considerably because I no longer have a car.. Now I pay for full coverage on a vehicle that state farm now owns. Nothing changed and when I call its the same thing...we will call you back......"
